Small in stature but certainly not in personality, the Southern Rockhopper Penguin is one of the Falkland Islands’ most charismatic residents.
With its distinctive yellow eyebrows, spiky feathers and habit of tackling rugged coastal terrain one determined hop at a time, the Rockhopper has an unmistakably bold character.
That made it the perfect namesake for this roast: compact, characterful and a little rugged around the edges, yet wonderfully approachable underneath it all.
